JPL Catering are delighted to be working with Reach Academy Feltham. We offer a catering solution delivered with passion and expertise.

We acknowledge that a healthy and balanced diet, rich in nutrients, is highly important to the development and learning of each pupil. Therefore our menus are created weekly by our Executive chef, Edson Lopes Junior, who aims to reflect freshness and diversity in nutrients at each meal to inspire curiosity and excitement in the pupils and staff alike.

Our innovative lunch model has also been covered by the Guardian!

We have delicious meals and work closely with JPL, our catering partner, to constantly evolve and develop our menu in line with pupils' tastes. Visitors, including then Mayor Boris Johnson, routinely remark that it is the best school lunch they have ever tasted.

Paying for school meals

From September 2023 - July 2024, all pupils from Reception to Year 6 will receive a free school meal at lunch time paid for by money from the Mayor of London. You can read more about it on the London Borough of Hounslow website. The same arrangements as normal for fruit at break time will be in place.

Please note that this money from the Mayor of London is currently  only in place for the 2023/24 Academic Year.

In Year 7-Year 13 the charge is £2.34 per meal.

Food must be paid for in advance and payment is made via the school’s online payment system, ParentPay. Parents can choose to pay weekly, monthly, half-termly or termly. Any meals that are not subsequently taken, due to unauthorised absence, will not be credited back and neither will those as a result of short-term illnesses. If a child is suffering from a long-term illness then a compromise may be reached, but only after discussion with the Senior Leadership.
